 Alternatively, since bert isn't using python, see the _get_buddy function
 in http://dev.laptop.org/git?p=projects/connect-
 activity;a=blob;f=activity.py;h=f4b70548d1bf88c6131f050b54b4302fb87f743e;hb=7c1ca652780e6939fe05302259d2ea4b8efd7c2a
 which is the code now pushed up into sugar.presence.sugartubeconn.

 That converts from a channel-specific handle to a handle you can use with
 GetBuddyByTelepathyHandle.
