Comment:

 I tried to trigger this bug using joyride-2155 and firmware Q2E10; after
 leaving a thumb drive plugged in for almost an hour it was still connected
 and visible in the Journal.

 As an aside, I've been using 2120, 2128 and 2140 (in addition to 2155) on
 a few machines in the last week and a half and was completely unaware of
 this bug until today -- I never encountered this issue and was always able
 to see/access the USB drive from the Journal. (Judging by a post two weeks
 ago to this ticket, it was fixed two weeks ago, before I even started
 working with joyride, which might explain this.)

 If either tomeu or mikus encounter this issue again, feel free to reopen
 it.
