Comment:

 I think this ticket should be closed as its wording predates the New
 Design and is slightly out of sync with it (e.g., mesh icons are totally
 removed from the mesh view, not combined into one icon in the mesh view).
 #6995 adequately captures the current work required more completely and
 accurately than this ticket, I think.

 That being said, the sensible intersection of this ticket's requirements
 and #6995's are addressed already in my sugar git (e.g.,
 http://dev.laptop.org/git?p=users/mdengler/sugar;a=shortlog;h=mesh-
 icon-6995 ).
