 Is it really useful to have a "clear network associations" button?  I
 would envision a list containing the essids of any networks that have been
 associated with.  The list would allow deletion of the entries, and could
 also allow re-ordering (so as to change the order in which associations
 are attempted). Exposing this directly should make it rather clear what's
 going on.

 Or, am I missing the point; are there other settings stored in the file
 that I didn't address?
