Comment:

 Am currently running 708 with Journal-86.  Previously, Journal would show
 the icon for the partition on my "permanent" SD card (and would scan that
 partition), and would write an .olpc.store directory into the filesystem
 on that partition.

 I have now changed the filesystem type on that SD card partition from VFAT
 to ext2.  As a result, though the XO *does* mount the filesystem, Journal
 neither shows the icon for that SD card partition, nor does it appear to
 perform a scan, nor does it write the .olpc.store directory into that
 filesystem.
