 Changing the problematic line, I think it's StoryBuilder.py:311, to

 {{{
        self.journal_path = os.path.join(os.getenv("SUGAR_ACTIVITY_ROOT"),
 "data", "Journal", "storybuilder")
 }}}

 works for me.
