 This thread is getting way off track.  This is not a GUI design problem;
 the UI already has functionality to delete activities.  The problem here
 is that customization sticks do not install Activity Bundles through the
 Journal, so the Journal does not have any record of their existence.
 Since deletion is performed in the Journal, those bundles cannot be
 deleted.

 The solution is to make the customization stick install bundles through
 the Journal.  The easiest way I see to accomplish this is to make a
 /home/olpc/.installme/ directory, into which the customization stick
 copies the .xo bundles.  On every boot, Sugar should scan that directory,
 install any .xo bundles, and then clear it.
