I have fixes/patches attached to this ticket, but they aren't in joyride
 yet.

I'll add this bug (#7248) as a blocker for your new bug (#7420) but I
 think it (#7420) is a dupe/subset of this (consider Eben's point #4).
Notwithstanding, your third paragrah/point in #7420 is not explicitly
mentioned in my test cases (see my previous comment in this bug) and it
would be a good addition. So in the hope marco's script(s) will pick this
 up:

 |Test Case|

7248.4: Show the speaker icon/popup and note its slider/adjustment's
handle's position. Using the slider, lower the volume just a bit. Close
the popup menu. Press the XO keyboard's "increase volume" button. Bring up
the popup menu. The slider should be higher.

 To recap:

 - my patches fix #7248 and #7420

 - the patches are not in joyride yet pending the review process

 - the patches be reviewed soon, I'm sure.

Thanks for the feedback...let me know if there's anything I've overlooked.

 Martin
