 joyride-2097.  Boot.  From the home view, press the frame key.

 There's a speaker icon.  Press the volume buttons on the keyboard; nothing
 happens to the speaker icon. (The speaker icon should reflect the volume
 changes.)

 Right click on the speaker icon to see the volume slider.  Press the
 volume buttons.  The slider doesn't move. (It should.)

 Lower the volume.  Close the popup menu.  Press the "increase volume"
 button.  Bring up the popup menu.  The slider is still where it was last.
 (It should be higher.)
