 I think its acceptable in the interim, yes.  It emphasizes Home as the
 place to launch, organize, manage, and delete activities from.  I think
 supporting the deletion use case is more important than having the perfect
 semantics with recoverability in the Journal.

 Also, with regard to the requisite internet connection, we can also choose
 to store in the metadata for the entry a) the downlaod/update URL as
 provided by .info and also b) the URL from which the activity was first
 downloaded (which could be a local URL in the library, or one from the
 school server or other proxy).  This could make it possible to locate an
 erased activity even without a direct internet connection in some cases.
 But in either case, my argument was that, in the future, we can retain
 useful info about the history of that activity in the Journal, and retain
 at least some crumb from which to recover it.
