 Here it is.  I think we nailed the problem, and I have only myself to
 blame for.  Weeks ago now, I edited activity.info in an attempt to fix the
 Speex bugs in Sugar and apparently doing that introduced a syntax error.
 So sorry for wasting everyone's time with wrong clues.  I should have
 thought this could have been the cause of the problem.  Really, my
 apologies.

 That said, the parsing of activity.info should perhaps be improved as not
 to break this easily.
