 Sorry the previous report may be misleading. The problem is actually
 relate to input method (IM). When switching to a Chinese IM module, the
 activation key binding, 'ctrl+space', failed to launch IM. However, if
 using XIM architecture selected from the right-click context menu, there's
 no this problem. It seems to be same cause of #6225.
