Comment:

 I have a few more examples to try out:

 http://www.bookstore.uwaterloo.ca/ - the Javascript image rotation at the
 top of the page (using JonDesign's SmoothGallery v2.0) causes X to use
 >90% CPU (according to top) and the Browse activity to become much less
 responsive

 http://slashdot.org/articles/08/01/29/1524216.shtml - the page scrolls
 fairly slow toward the bottom (when the comment sidebar becomes active);
 probably due to slow re-rendering of the sidebar (or the main page when
 the sidebar is active); while scrolling, X uses >60% CPU (according to
 top) and Browse uses the rest of the available CPU time

 These were both tested with Build 650.  It would be nice if someone could
 try them out on a newer build.
