 Marco,

 updating only in master works for me, as that is what I track for the
 ubuntu packages. However until this is ambiguous in git and consequently
 in the dist tarballs, I can simply not pass it through the ubuntu archive
 managers. One workaround could have been just adding a copy of the LGPL to
 the tarball, but I'd prefer not touching the original tree in this way.
 So far the ubuntu packages live in a 3rd party repo where the rules are
 more lax, but to get to the large number of testers and developers who use
 8.04 they would need to be in the ubuntu main archives, and that is what I
 am trying to accomplish.
