 steps to reproduce:
  - three test machines A, B, C
  - A shares activity
  - the activity icon comes up on machine B and C and the XO icon of A
 placed next to it

  - B joins the activity
  - on A the XO icon of B will be placed next to the activity icon
  - on B nothing has changed
  - on C the XO icon of B disappeared but is not placed next to the
 activity icon of the activity it just joined

  - C joins the activity
  - no change in the icons, not two XO's displayed around the activity icon
 for example

 ...and so on, i guess someone has to look into that. The information in
 the friends tray (right on the frame) looks right so it might be a mesh
 view error so i assign to sugar.

 Tested on 682 and 686 with link local and connected to an AP.
