 iwlist scan gave no results.

 only the mesh circles existed in the mesh view.

 I was extensively trying to connect to a linksys AP with wep. The AP was
 crashing for some reason(it was connected to my laptop with ethernet, and
 suddenly returned zeroconf address).
 The hang on the XO occured twice(!!) within about an hour.
