 Hello there

 My xo information is as below

 Build 656
 Firmware q2d07
 Serial number SHF7250059A

 I update my xo(B4-1) to build 656. Now I can’t write in Amharic using
 AbyssincaSIL. I download(using Firefox) some Amharic text from the net
 with my non-xo laptop, saved it in USB and perfectly read it in my
 xo(using the browse activity). So, the fonts are at least there.

 When I select AbyssinicaSIL from the font type in the write activity
 (whether I hit the multiplication/division key just below the enter key or
 not), not a single character gets to be displayed (not even the English
 letter). The cursor remains in the same position as before.

 Tried to change the keyboard setting with
 setxkbmap -model olpc 'us(olpc2),et'

 But when I type

 'cat /etc/sysconfig/keyboard', I still get

   KEYTABLE="us"
   XKB_MODEL="olpc"
   XKB_LAYOUT="us" (this is not supposed to be changed?)
   XKB_VARIANT="" (not XKB_VARIANT="olpc" as suggested in the wiki).

 If there is any thing left out, I am happy to provide more info.
 Thank you,
