 Since your successors may have a need to move things into the library,
 consider just making the whole thing LGPL. There is no reason why a person
 can't use the LGPL for non-library code.

 I do exactly this for the /bin/ps program. My successors shouldn't need to
 wait until 95 years after my death just to put stuff into a library that
 might be useful to BSD/Apache/Python code.
