Comment:

cjb, I'm assigning you this bug. It would be great if you could let me
know what version of gtksourceview2 you're working from, and where you get
it, so I could find a workaround for myself. Quick googling gives me some
changelogs which let me fix the initial problem with list_languages, but
it seems there are broader changes to the API (AttributeError:
'gtksourceview2.Buffer' object has no attribute 'set_highlight' on line
 120).

I could fix it for my version of gtksourceview2, of course. But
eventually, in my version, I want to move the gtksourceview2 functionality
into Python, in order to integrate it with my planned translation
functions (basing the source code highlighting on IDLE). So I'd rather
start from an unmodified, working Pippy. Of course, if you were planning
on moving to the new gtksourceview2 API anyway, that would be great for me
for now (long term solution is still rolling it into Pippy or the basic
 build, though).

I'm the guy working on Develop, and, as suggested on the mailing list, I'm
going to start by branching Pippy and just putting a file-browsing
treeview on the side instead of a simple list. Cheers!
