 If you do not use a login shell, then root's path does not include /sbin,
 /usr/sbin, etc.

 Can we please move the discussion of 'Root Shell Activity' into another
 bug?

 My current plan is to use the pam configuration provided above by Albert
 Cahalan in in [comment:27 comment 27], and ship as 'sudo' a small python
 script that will handle the most common sudo options.  I don't think that
 'su' will clean the environment the same way 'sudo' does.
