'http://209.85.133.18/' results in Page Load Error - Address Not Found.
__No__ packets are sent to my ethernet. 'http://an-in-f18.google.com/'
has the same error. Again, no packets are sent to my ethernet, not even
 to the DNS server.

I don't have wireless for my G1G1, but use an USB-ethernet adapter
connected to my local LAN. [The LAN is connected to the internet through
a proxy (which I have specified to the system, and to the browsers).] The
last time Browse worked for me was back when I had a stable build. At
that time I was stopping the Network Manager, and using 'ifconfig' to
manually set the XO's IP address. Now I let Network Manager be assigned
the IP address from a DHCP server on the ethernet, and am using 'Update.1'
 builds (681).

I've tried everything I can think of, including telling Browse to not use
IPv6. Seems to me Browse has decided it does not have a working
interface, so it *immediately* says "not found", without actually trying
to use the available wired connection. Opera has NO PROBLEM accessing
internet websites through my wired connection. Neither does wget.
