I tested Joyride 1529 and every time the machine actually went into
suspend the LED flashed. I did however have several times that the
machine did not go into suspend. It just sat there long enough for the
screen turn off to happen.
According to the setting in timeouts.ini file ohmd should be attempting to
suspend when it sees that the machine has been idle for 30 seconds. If
that is really working correctly (and the machine is really idle) then I
would think the screen turn off should never happen. This is supported by
my tests both with and without external power.
What puzzles me though is the report that the power light was off. I was
not able to reproduce this If this can be reproduced then please do it on
a machine with a serial console so you can verify that the machine really
went into suspend.
