 For supporting donors and other XO users whose laptops are not working
 properly, it's been useful to have them just click on the log viewer and
 look for error messages.  Instead of teaching them how to get to a login
 prompt or shell; how to cd into the torturous directory name containing
 the logfiles; and then how to use "ls" and "less" to examine them.
 (Having the logfiles actually be emailed up into a trouble ticket is way
 too hard, involving Unix commands to put them on a USB stick, and a second
 computer that knows how to do email.)

 Adding any additional steps (like navigate your broken XO through the
 Library to install the log viewer) should be avoided.  In many cases when
 the laptop is broken (e.g. disk full), it won't work, and even when it
 would work, it's a distraction from solving the donor's problem.

 (Perhaps there should be someone from the support team on the release
 team, to represent the needs of the customer base and support techs?)

 Please retain Log Viewer.

 The reason for this bug ticket is that I saw an IRC conversation saying
 that it and Analyze are to be removed:

  <jg> we need to get from Walter the final activity list for update.1; it
 may (or may not) be in trac...  marcopg will have to ensure the order he's
 happy with.  I'll go bother him I'd like that information today.

 Ticket #4145 currently recommends that the Log Viewer be retained in
 Update.1, but not for any reason like "It's useful in support."  Thus, in
 case that changes, this bug report.
