 bernie: There's a function in the code that verifies whether it's a valid
 datastore file or not.  The four criteria are:
 a] proper length;
 b] proper number of dashes;
 c] proper location of dashes;
 d] every non-dash must be a lowercase hexidecimal character.

 That said, yes, I suppose if someone shoved a 'deadbeef-dead-dead-...'
 file that happens to trigger the algorithm ''in the previews/ directory''
 we will delete it.  I suspect that is a risk we can take.
