 Another simple solution could be ACLs and specifically the default ACL:

 setfacl -d -m group:Browse:rw /home/.../shared-profile-dir

 Unless xulrunner forcibly removes the ACL entries, everyone in the Browse
 group would be able to read and write any file/directory created in the
 profile dir.
