 With the patch applied I can still get it in a state where the forward
 palette is not displayed - you have to use a long title web page though.

 The forward palette will not be displayed. maxlen=70 works


 Even if the positioning for the palette will be the right solution for the
 tray a shortterm fix would be to set maxlen=50, the current value of 70
 does not work.
