 Oh, perhaps I see where is the misunderstanding now.

 What should happen when the clipboard is full and a new item is added, is
 that the item in the bottom of the stack gets deleted. And the reason why
 I'm saying it might be a better idea to do that in the UI is because the
 UI is the only who knows which item is in the bottom of the stack. The
 service has a set of clippings, and the frame organizes them in a stack.

 Perhaps the size-based limit in the service would reject new items when it
 is full, instead of deleting older items.
