Comment:

 The wiki now provides a google search box.

 But the wiki search box remains.  The google search is independent, rather
 than being integrated into the wiki.  Ie, one of the possible ways to set
 up indexing and search on a mediawiki, is to use google, instead of
 installing a local search engine.  This isn't that.  I assume the wiki
 search box is linked to the same (my recollection is fuzzy here) mysql
 search kludge, which doesn't do stemming, etc, and basically isn't
 designed for search.

 So the purpose of this ticket is now just to get the wiki search box made
 real.  Because presenting users with two search boxes is less than ideal.

 I'm dropping the Priority to normal, as the google box fixes the critical
 need that visitors be able to search the wiki.  Perhaps it should be low
 instead.

 I have no idea why adding this comment unavoidably results in # blocking
 deleted # blockedby deleted.  I didn't touch them.
