 A while ago I tried the same file with a faster 1GB ADATA card.  (By the
 way, I was wrong about the maker of the 2GB card, it's PNY not Lexar.)
 Same behavior as before whether using the built-in SD slot or a usb
 reader, with one difference:  When using the internal slot and resuming
 through Browse (not W&L), it actually loaded.  It took a very long time to
 do so though.

 Previously with the other card I had let it sit for up to half an hour and
 it never finished launching Browse.  This time it did play eventually.  In
 watch & listen it still didn't play.

 The problem could be that it's trying to make a copy of the file before
 playing, or it could be trying to load the whole thing into memory.  Just
 speculation, I don't really know.  But with shorter clips it played almost
 immediately, even if the actual file size was close to the same as a
 longer video.
