Comment(by marco):

 The palette is being displayed at the top (so invisible outside screen).
 The positioning logic needs to be smarter when every possible position is
 going out of screen. Also the history items labels should be ellipsized so
 that they never go out of screen (we have a separate ticket for that,
 targeted to Update.2).
