 Launch it with Read.

 Once each page loads, click on the right arrow to go to the next page.
 When page 5 displays, just wait. In about 30 seconds, Read will crash
 (sometimes taking the Journal along with it too.)

 If you jump arbitrarily to, for example, page 100, everything works fine.
 However, it's very unhappy with page 5.

 Neither xpdf (on the XO) nor acrobat reader (on Windows) have a problem
 with the file.
