If OLPC is unable or unwilling to include standard (i.e. used by everyone)
web plug-ins with its distributions, then it has to give users some way to
install them without going to the command line.

This seems to be the major ''fixable'' bug mentioned in this highly
 unfavorable article in the Economist
 ([http://www.economist.com/science/displaystory.cfm?story_id=10472304#
"One clunky laptop per child"]) that has not been solved or is not being
 addressed within this ticketing system.

Most users want to be able to use YouTube and similar functionality that
is dependent on flash or java (is there any other issue that has generated
more duplicate tickets?). The use of YouTube by children is also
extensively mentioned in the OLPC wiki.

This bug is ancillary to bug #5864.
