 According to this log you are only drawing 981mAh out of the battery
 before the voltage drops to the critial point where the EC shuts off the
 laptop to prevent battery cell damage.   You never get a red LED because
 capacity % does not drop below 15%.  I'll file a bug to try to do
 something with the battery status LED so there's _some_ sort of warning
 the EC is about to shut you down.

 This seems to suggest that your battery is not getting fully charged yet
 being marked as such.  I need to see olpc-logbat while you are charging
 the battery.  Please run a few charge/discharge cycles all while running
 olpc-logbat.
