 Out of curiosity, I diff-ed 669 and 670's filesystems.  The changes all
 look quite innocent, and almost all are in /boot, /usr/share/activities,
 and /var.  The only changed files that looked even slightly suspicious
 were:

 /lib/modules/2.6.22-20071213.7.olpc.807beb7d0b8a49a/modules.dep
 /lib/modules/2.6.22-20071213.7.olpc.807beb7d0b8a49a/modules.pcimap
 /lib/modules/2.6.22-20071213.7.olpc.807beb7d0b8a49a/modules.symbols
 /lib/modules/2.6.22-20071213.7.olpc.807beb7d0b8a49a/modules.usbmap

 but these files seem merely to have had their lines reordered.
