 Rotate the screen 90 degrees.  Use the trackpad.  Up is right, right is
 down, down is left, and left is up.   Up should be up, right should be
 right, down should be down, left should be left.

 This issue was raised in the comments of #2296, which was closed without
 the behavior being changed. #5549 discusses issues with the game pad and
 arrows, but not the trackpad; same with #1310.

 This defect matters because when the screen is rotated, even if you are
 using the laptop with the screen hiding the keyboard, you sometimes want
 to have control of the track-pad.  Sometimes the game pad and rocker just
 don't do what you need to do (like closing an activity, navigating the
 home screen, dealing with a download), and you don't want to rotate
 everything again.   Also, the current behavior is just wrong.

 This behavior was induced in joyride-1492.
