 I'd like to argue that fuse could be useful on the XO, underpinning an
 interface to the datastore at the very least.

 Fuse will install through yum, but the kernel module is missing and as far
 as I can tell, to get it, one must compile fuse from source. I am not
 arguing that fuse should be installed by default, but as it is difficult
 to compile things on the XO, if the kernel module was there in advance it
 would perhaps help to simplify development.

 I would imagine this wouldn't take up much in the way of space or
 resources, but I can't claim to know.
