Comment:

 I also experienced this same bug running joyride-1489.  I downloaded the
 .xo bundle of XoIRC from the wiki, and clicked on it in the journal.  It
 "started", flashing in the home page, but after some time the icon just
 disappeared, without the activity ever opening.   I experienced the same
 behavior after rebooting and attempting to relaunch from the frame.

 I also experienced the same problem trying to download/run Implode.

 I will try to attach the logs.
