Comment(by wad):

 The problem is that ejabberd crashes dues a memory leak right now.  While
 Process One searches for the fix to the memory leak, monit (or other
 software) can be used to monitor ejabberd and restart it if necessary.

 Collabora supposedly set up monit on jabber.laptop.org to do this.  It
 needs to be added to the school server build.
