 not sure if related or not, but at least weird behavior:
 G1G1 XO with 2.6.22-20071121.7. AP is linksys WRT54GL running openwrt
 WHITE RUSSIAN (RC6).
 tried with WEP 128bits. did not connect. then removed WEP on the AP. other
 laptops reconnect (without any security). on the XO, all the networks in
 the neighborhood disappeared, including others not related to the change.
 /home/olpc/.sugar/.../networks.config was empty. rm and restart sugar did
 not help.
 reboot XO restored the network and neighborhood. weird that the only cure
 seems to be rebooting...
