 Hi, I suggest you upgrade to a newer build: the evince-olpc package is
 deprecated. Older Read versions depended on it, but newer versions don't
 (they use package sugar-evince). I would recommend 693, the update.1
 release candidate. That build needs lots of testing; bug reports are
 appreciated!

 Also, I don't really feel this/#5869 ticket needs to be reopened: we made
 some minor improvements already, but the major issue is evince using a lot
 of memory. This problem got upped in priority on the evince roadmap
 (http://live.gnome.org/Evince/Roadmap), so we'll see improvements in the
 future.
