Comment:

 The problem with Teulgu fonts not appearing in XO is because of this.
 When I first tested, I merely created a ~/.fonts folder and copied
 Pothanaa2000 fonts in to this folder.
 The method showed fonts only in Sugar main screen and in web pages.
 Now I have tried Lohit-Telugu with "yum install fonts-telugu".
 Now I can see Telugu translations in 5 activities with all its
 idiosyncrasies in display due to Lohit-Telugu.
 How ever only 5 activities show translations, probably others are not
 updated.
