 Hi Ricardo,

 I propose the following:

 sugar-control-panel:
  * add options to set and get the bcast rate
  * sugar-control-panel -s mcast [rate]
     * uses iwpriv to set the rate and stores value in /etc/mcast_rate
  * sugar-control-panel -g mcast
     * uses iwpriv to read the current value

 /etc/mcast_rate:
  * file containing the rate value
  * default value would be 72 @carrano: this should be the default value
 right?
  * @dcbw and others: not sure this is the best place to store this value,
 if someone has a better idea, please speak up

 set_mcast_rate:
  * i would name it set_mcast_rate since it does not only increase the rate
  * this reads the value from /etc/mcast_rate
  * and sets value if the device is up
  * make it executable
