 I guess I'm not being clear.

 The PDF in the bug report refers to an upstream bug that you say are not
 sure to be the same issue.

 So, we would need the pdf you were trying to view, and compare the memory
 usage of both in Read. In this way, we could see if it's the same issue or
 not.
