Comment(by wad):

 Tested on C2 machines running build 693, with security on but suspend
 inhibited.

 On a simple mesh, invites are NOT working.

 When connected to an access point, invites are working fine.

 Joins (sharing a document, then selecting it on the other machine) do work
 fine on a simple mesh.

 By simple mesh, I mean that the laptops are not connected to any access
 point or school server.  They are creating an ad-hoc mesh on channel 1.
