 People used to be able to easily search the mailinglists on
 lists.laptop.org, using a google link such as
 http://www.google.com/custom?hl=en&cof=&domains=lists.laptop.org&q=robot&btnG=Search&sitesearch=lists.laptop.org

 This currently returns hits to a great many monthly .txt.gz mail files.
 In the resulting clutter, I can't easily tell if search is otherwise
 working or not.  So much clutter, I at least wouldn't be inclined to use
 it, or to recommend its use to others.  There is much of value in the
 lists, and we would like to encourage people to use them.  Making them
 inaccessible to search does not help this.

 Can we move the monthly .gz files somewhere where they can be -url:'ed out
 of the search, or perhaps better, robot.txt Disallow:ed?
