 Edward B. suggests pyxpcom is a viable solution for supporting all manner
 of browser activities, including Dan Bricklin's javascript spreadsheet
 (which wants access to sugar components, the journal, &c).

 A number of discussions about using pyxpcom for various activities have
 avoided closure on how or whether it could be used effectively.

 Specific use cases and tricky issues (including future support for pyxpcom
 upstream and implied maintenance) need to be laid out so that viability
 can be demonstrated and effectively discussed.
 In addition to the above, other use cases include using the browser as a
 platform to rapidly prototype new interfaces to one's own public
 collections and journal entries, and activities designed for a browser +
 google gears or simmilar firefox extensions.
