 Yes, in my head I was thinking that the tag button would call up a palette
 that was, in a sense, attached to the search bar itself.  This same
 palette would appear automatically when typing into the field, offering
 suggestions (the first of which, for instance, would be the autocomplete
 suggestion).  In this manner, the button would just provide an alternative
 way to access this info without needing to do any typing at all.
