 This all sounds like a really solid idea to me, and I think it emphasizes
 in the type of system we envisioned when making the decision to use a tag-
 based system.  I don't think I really have any changes to make to the
 basic specification laid out here.  My only question, in terms of screen
 real-estate, is if it would be sufficient to have an arrow (or even some
 kind of tag icon) next to the text entry which reveals a list of tags for
 drilling down into the items.  To reinforce the idea of the search,
 clicking on these tags could actually add them to the search field itself.
