 It seems I've confused issues somewhat, actually the first 4 patches have
 the effect that the register flag is simply ignored by presence service,
 and no public API is changed. This seems a reasonable change to me for the
 moment, later we can remove it from Sugar and other things in later
 releases. Guillaume, have you tested the correct behaviour of the first 4
 patches?
