 I can't reproduce this one unfortunately.. I've reread the relevant code
 and it all seems ok. We do need a more reliable way to reproduce this one
 before we can fix it :(.. If you can somewhat reliably reproduce it, then
 network traces and a full backtrace (preferably one of salut compiled
 without optimisations) should be valuable...
